Designing A Mutant Urban Landscape With Xr: Evaluation Strategies In Collaborative Learning Systems With Xr and Their Impact On The Design of Urban Installations With Domotics
The following paper discusses the implementation of Extended Reality (XR) in educational settings, enabling the simulation of circadian transformations and the creation of interactive interfaces in public spaces. This article outlines the second phase of research, which focuses on integrating XR, UX, and building automation in collaborative workshops involving three universities from different countries. The objective is to design microarchitectures that account for time and light, adapt to changing conditions, and utilize the user as a transforming agent. Challenges include the creation of biodigital microarchitectures integrated into urban environments. The proposed methodology, which incorporates virtual and in-person workshops, assesses the design and user experience through XR, fostering innovation and inclusive environments. The findings indicate combining UX and XR enhances the design process and spatial perception. Furthermore, implementing XR minimizes disruption to the natural environment as it is tested before installation.
