Trillium Pavilion Co-Design Using Digital Means and Ai

This paper focuses on incorporating modular design paradigm, and advanced capabilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with computational tools. This strategy evolved from the creation of furniture to architectural elements to urban planning. This comprehensive study navigates the interplay of technology and architecture, delving into AI's potential as a catalyst for innovative design and digital fabrication. AI's integration in architecture has showcased its potential through experiments to generate/analyze design alternatives, streamlining processes, liberating designers to explore a broader spectrum of solutions and design challenges, allowing the augmentation of architectural efficiency, minimization wastage, timesaving in manufacturing, construction phases. This research examines the influence of AI throughout in the architectural project. AI contributes by introducing a novel combination of computational design approaches. This fusion incorporates two primary strategies, text-to-image and text-to-text, enhancing the capabilities of parametric tools, enabling architects to visualize/explore possibilities, streamlining the concept stage and facilitating a transition to construction.
