Generative Design Based On Environmental Comfort Parameters In Development of A Kinetic Prototype
This paper explores the impact of technology on contemporary architectural design, focusing on kinetic approach, multi-objective optimization, and digital fabrication. The methodology involved using Rhinoceros + Grasshopper to parameterize form, conducting detailed environmental simulations, and creating physical prototypes via 3D printing. The results highlighted the feasibility of integrating digital and physical models using technologies such as the Firefly plugin for electronic control. The discussion emphasized the complexity and adaptability of the architectural solutions generated, offering valuable insights for design practice. Key findings emphasize the potential of digital technologies to transform architectural conception, promoting efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in developing adaptive structures responsive to environmental conditions.
