Physiographic Aspects of The Landscape In The Design of Nature-Based Solutions: A Novel Approach On Hubs and Links
This paper explores the implementation of physiographic variables into the design of nature-based drainage infrastructures to address the challenge of climate change. By applying a methodology that combines parametric analysis and artificial intelligence simulations, it was possible to comprehend how digital technologies can enhance interventions with positive impact to the hydrological behavior of urban landscapes. The study demonstrates that these techniques can help in the identification of flood-prone areas, guiding disaster risk reduction actions. The application of AI as a co-creation tool for green infrastructures also showed to be effective, improving the visualization of feasible outcomes for the adaptation of consolidated urban areas.
