Ballon A Case Study of Project Thinking and Creation Through Parametric Design
This article presents a case study titled “Ballon”, which explores project creation through parametric design. As the first final-year project at the Faculty of Architecture conducted entirely with parametric design (using Grasshopper), “Ballon” examines the concept of a transforming city and adaptive architecture. The project's non-linear process began with traditional design methods leading to the adoption of parametric design. This approach highlighted the need for a holistic method combining traditional and parametric design possibilities. “Ballon” serves as an educational tool, emphasizing the importance of technological diversity and the integration of advanced digital technologies in architectural design, offering insights into the potential and challenges of these innovations.
