Collaborative Classroom For The Development of Skills: Bim Methodology Applied In Architectural Learning
The technology in architecture produced important changes in the carrier curricular structure. In this process, it was necessary to introduce the Building Information Modeling (BIM) as a project management strategy. These modifications caused the updates of several courses and the need to apply new teaching-learning methods. This research aims evaluates strategies to improve the learning of the BIM methodology through a collaborative space for interaction and demonstrate the importance of a space designed especially for architecture students, as part of the project management and representation course. A quantitative and qualitative analysis was carried out, applied two groups of students from the Architectural Representation course, students of the fifth semester of studies. Surveys were administered to the students and the results of the evaluations were statistically analyzed. After applying the analysis, it was concluded that the application of the BIM methodology within a collaborative classroom improves course learning.
